Yuriy Zhovtyuk
Founder & Director
Yuriy is a former gymnast and Ukrainian Junior Team Member, having competed for over 15 years. Yuriy performed for Zippo’s Circus before embarking on his coaching career in the UK, amassing almost 20 years of experience as a coach and club manager. Frustrated by the lack of suitable handguards for younger gymnasts, he founded Gymnastic Planet
to expand and improve the training tools available for all ages and abilities. Yuriy also has specialist experience in gymnastics equipment and club design, and now dedicates himself to Gymnastic Planet full-time.
Lauren Lethbridge
Head of Marketing.
Lauren took up artistic gymnastics at a young age, with Gymnastic Planet director Yuriy as one of her coaches. In 2008 Lauren transitioned to the Disability Gymnastics pathway, within which she became a member of the Disability National Squad, attended international training camps, and became British Champion multiple times. Lauren also holds coaching and judging qualifications for women’s artistic gymnastics and enjoys sharing her insights and tips with new generations of gymnasts via the Gymnastic Planet social media channels.
Olga Daneliuk
Customer Service Rep.
Olga was always interested in gymnastics as a child and aspired to become a gymnast. Unfortunately, a lack of local training facilities
hampered Olga’s goals, but she was finally able to become immersed in the sport when she joined Gymnastic Planet as an apprentice in 2022. Olga has since gained extensive gymnastics knowledge and is always
happy to advise gymnasts and parents on the products best suited to help them achieve their gym goals. She may yet fulfill her ambitions within adult gymnastics...
Andrey Pozdnyakov
Equipment Engineer
Andrey is a former gymnast and winner of the Soviet Union Master of Sport award. Andrey holds a degree in Sports Coaching and is a Level 5 MAG coach. He has years of coaching and club management experience in both the UK and Russia. Andrey joined Gymnastic Planet to help gym clubs better operate using safe equipment and optimal facilities. When performing equipment installation and servicing in gym clubs around the UK, he and Yuriy are sometimes tempted to test the equipment

Roman and Oksana Stefanyuk
Product Development
Husband-and-wife team Roman and Oksana are both former gymnasts with years of experience in gymnastics and circus performance. They have over 40 years of combined experience. With many years of gymnastics coaching experience in both Ukraine and the UK, Roman now applies his extensive skills of designing, producing and repairing gymnastics equipment, helping ensure that Gymnastic Planet products are always of the best quality. Oksana is also an accomplished seamstress and applies her skill and attention to detail to gymnastic Planet products.
Cookie Zhovtyuk
CHO (Chief Happiness Officer)
Cookie plays a vital role in creating a pawsitive and uplifting work environment. Her responsibilities go beyond the ordinary—she’s here to enhance well-being, boost team spirit, and keep tails wagging! Cookie keeps an eye out for squirrels, delivery people, and office intruders. Her keen senses enhance office security. When deadlines loom or tensions rise, Cookie offers cuddles and companionship. Cookie attends important meetings.
Her feedback is nonverbal but always positive.
