What Are DRY BANDS
DRY BANDS *NEW design wristbands that are designed to protect your wrists against rubs and skin rips whilst performing gymnastics bar training routines. Super comfortable wristbands with wicking and antimicrobial properties. Lower half flips up over velcro or buckles of handguards for safety, comfort and a sleek look.

Designed by a coach who understands how painful and frustrating bar training can be when suffering from sore wrists. Recognizing the importance of protecting your wrists ensures you remain focused and helps you perform skills confidently and safely, without being in so much pain.

How DRY BANDS Work
Sores and irritation on the wrist are caused by a combination of moisture (sweat) and friction (from swinging).

Understanding why the more commonly used materials (cotton or neoprene) are ineffective and what causes skin irritation will help explain the benefits DRY BANDS unique design gives gymnasts.

Although cotton can absorb some of the sweat it is also actually an insulator. Because of this, the problem is it traps heat between the material and skin, therefore, causing the athlete to sweat more where that area of the skin is covered. Added to the fact it becomes wet will then cause the material to rub the skin raw and tender. Neoprene, on the other hand, provides a better barrier from friction however as it is also designed specifically for insulation the area of skin covered will still perspire in neoprene, and the sweat will remain trapped beneath the synthetic rubber. The other problem with this is that it will harbor bacteria causing odor and we all know how bad wristbands can smell.

DRY BANDS have revolutionized and perfected the perfect combination of materials. One fabric for the outside to wick sweat away and keep it cool and dry, with others lining the inside to make it absorbent and cushioned for comfort. The outer layer of DRY BANDS is a polyester/spandex blend with antimicrobial properties (to discourage bacteria growth) and wicking properties (to lift sweat off the skin quickly). The inner layers are made up of rayon for comfort and maximum absorbency. In fact, the interior of DRY BANDS is 25x more absorbent than cotton!

Can You Wear DRY BANDS For COMPETITIONS
Unlike tape or bandages, there is no ruling for wrist bands to be skin colour when competing at competitions.

DRY BANDS lessen the FRICTION like this
Flipping the bottom layer up to hold the grip more securely without having to tighten the grip itself.

How Do You Wear DRY BANDS
Please be aware DRY BANDS should put on with the care instructions on the outside, otherwise, this will cause them to feel too small. DRY BANDS go under and over your handguards. First, you put on the DRY BANDS wristband then you put on your handguards and finally flip the lower half up to cover your buckles or velcro.
