AMELIE MORGAN

Amelie is a Senior Team GB gymnast. She trains at the Academy of gymnastics (Portishead, Bristol). Amelie is already a superstar and in her 17 years of age she achieved a lot. She very well known not only for her gymnastics but also for staring in BBC Gym Stars.

Favourite apparatus - why do you love it?

Beam because I love how you can express yourself in your dance and make your routine really original as there are so many elements and different connections to try

Pre-competition rituals

I try to keep most things as normal as possible, which helps me to be less nervous. Although normally I do my makeup with my teammates while we play really loud music, and I usually ask someone to plait my hair before I’m terrible at hair!

Future goals

I would love to get to go to more Senior Internationals and keep our title as British team champions. Also after my elite career in the UK I have a scholarship to Cal Berkeley University in the US, so I hope to study and compete out there.
